Back in the day when we would actually service alternators in service station garages and repair facilities. This was at one time a very routine service. These days no-one does this kind of work anymore.
The 189 "Delux" was a very popular tool kit for servicing alternators. Almost every service station owned some form of this popular kit.
I found the box and a few old pieces several months ago, and have been slowly searching the net for the necessary pieces to complete the set. Today I finally found the last piece: part number 184 - Delcotron pulley adaptor
It's a classic service set and was a common accessory for the old Sun Alternator Tester bench that I refurbished last year. I even managed to get the original KD service manuals and instruction sheets. I just love this old stuff :toothy9:
