Title: My Old Vessel Impact Driver -- Been with me a very long time
Post by: goodfellow on Feb 07, 2025, 06:09 PM
I've come to really appreciate the value of an old fashioned impact driver. Rusted and corroded fasteners will come out much more easily with this simple tool. This one is from 1978

Love this old Vessel model -- and that old Vaughan ball pien hammer :headbang:

I too have a no name import impact rarely needed, but always effective I have had for about 40 years.  I never saw a need to upgrade brands since it always did the trick.

Very persuasive when needed.

Good thing is that the bit holder will hold any standard hex head bit from most manufacturers. I keep a cheap HF bit set and an impact driver in my road box as well.
