Like many folks I have a typical Asian Front end service kit (like the HF set below) -- My OTC set has a wide range of pullers, but has it's limitations.

I just picked up this little beauty for a few $$ on ebay. Nice workmanship and all US made pullers. These things are really designed for the most stubborn situations.

I used the HF ball joint separator on my truck this fall was actually impressed with its build quality and that it worked. Also used the pitman arm puller but had to grind down the arms to make it fit between the arm and the gear box. Still held in just fine.
I have several FE pullers and spreaders, but no sets. Most of my pullers I bought used through the years and have been fortunate to find as many USA pullers at prices I could afford as I did. Most of mine are OTC,Proto and Snap-on.
I sell a fair amount of pullers of all types. I especially like the big ones. I deal with so many truck and equipment mechanics that the large ones sell well.
My personal experience is that you can't beat Snap on pullers but can't say my use is extensive.
I would definitely have Posilock pullers in my arsenal if I was a mechanic
