Title: Rare-Earth Neodymium Magnets
Post by: j.a.f.e. on Feb 14, 2025, 03:43 AM
Magcraft is a supplier of the chrome plated rare earth type magnets. I have bought a lot of magnets from these guys for some reason I seem to have a lot of projects needing them. I have bought direct but I see now the south American river carries them as well. Not sure if there is a price difference between the two.

They come in a variety of shapes like Arc, Block, Cube, Cylinder, Disc, Ring, Rod and various pole orientations the spec sheets also lists the strength. Plus they ship in a pretty cool little package.

One of these would be good to put on an oil filter.

While I have bought some from HJE, my most recent purchase of them was from a river, as I found plans for a 3d printed series of socket holders, that use them.  I bought my 3d printer right before finding the cancer, and have yet to get to use it.
