I've always said if you take away my humor you'll take away my sanity.
The air intake tube on this forklift had a hole rubbed into it. So I drilled the hole big enough to epoxy a plastic plug in it.
Then just to mess with someone I epoxied a penny on top of the plug....

I epoxied a penny to the sidewalk in front of my house 10 years ago and it's still there, but doesn't look much like a penny anymore.
I keep all wheat pennies I find, but don't give any thought to the post '77 ( I think that's it ) plated zinc pennies.
A couple years ago I was going through my safe and found the jar full of foreign money my uncle had saved for my grandfather after he returned from being stationed overseas on the USS Nimitz back in the 80's.
A little bit of paper money, but mostly just coins.
A lot from Singapore, then Thailand , Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, and some stuff I couldn't identify.
Anyways none of it has much monetary value, and really no sentimental value, so I decided to start randomly leaving it places.
I got a laugh out of knowing some people would think they found money then be disappointed.
But I also like knowing some kid might find it and identifying it on Google may give them an interest in coins like I have.
