Everyone seemed to enjoy the photos from my part of the world, so here we go again.

I caught the Goodyear FG-1D Corsair NZ5648 (ZK-COR) at Classic Flyer's Aero Day on Saturday, behind one the re-enactor groups flag.

What a great fighter airplane that was/is. Everyone loves the Spitfire and the Mustang, but the Corsair was an absolute beast.

The advantages of living in a maritime temperate climate. This week the lowest overnight was 1.5C (35F) and the daytime high was 16C (61F). It rarely gets below freezing, with the record lowest temperature being around -5C (23F).
