The 7.5" diameter ring gear was marginal in strength, The original 2.73 ratio was way too high and needed to go away. What a fine rusted piece of crap.You cannot view this attachment.You cannot view this attachment.

This 3.73 ratio 8.8 axle with Yukon 31 spline, 5 stud axles should do the trick just fine.You cannot view this attachment.

Nope.
It actually hooks up well with the drag radials.You cannot view this attachment.

That is some CLEAN sheet metal up under there.
Keep an eye on those attachment points as over the yrs I've seen where the good hooking ones have a chance to rip the metal at the stress point.
Gonna want to see some slips or is this just for fun? Drag n drive?
