This might be a question for goodfellow.

Can we get some instruction on posting pictures?

Attaching pictures isn't that difficult. Type your text and when you're ready to post a picture then click on the "PREVIEW" button. A menu bar will now show up at the bottom of the text pane saying.....

"Click or drag files here to attach them"

You can either drag a file over that menu bar of click it and it will allow you to search your computer directory for a specific file that you want to post.

Caution though -- it won't allow you to post pics that are too large. We're working on that right now, and trying to figure out how to allow for larger file uploads. I personally have all of my pics hosted on Photobucket and merely link them from there to the GarageHangout. Hence I don't have a file size constraint.

OK, let's try 1024 x 680

Edit: when I uploaded it said 140k/500k, so it looks like the limit is 500kilobytes.

The settings still need tweaking to find that happy medium between filling our storage space too quickly while still letting us see them pictographs everyone likes!

I use a free place that hosts pix and you get an address I guess it what you call it to put in the post to have your pic in there.

On a side note, will there be a number of posts then we wont have the verification letters?

That can be a great option for more flexibility in positioning images in the text although this updated forum software is a bit better for that than it used to be.  Personally, I never quite recovered from photobucket switching to p2p.

Yes, just a few posts required to get past the gatekeeper nags.  This is to (hopefully) deter spambots and scammers.
