i love a modern 4 stroke diesel engine and gasoline powered 4 strokes of all sorts as well. reliable and efficient.

that said there is nothing like gear jamming a 2 stroke detroit in a gmc truck or a hopped up 2 stroke in a bike or sled. if you have never experienced it.......  you just don't know you don't know.

Love the sound of the old jimmy's. Back when I was working on the coast, we had a tugboat powered by two 12v71tt's with burned out mufflers. Between the boat and the pile hammers you had to wear ear protection nearly all the time and I was probably the only nut there who thought it was awesome.
