Gas Welding Hose Reel

This reel will allow me to work inside and out with complete freedom of movement. I tested it out and decided the best place to mount it was right in the middle of the back shop wall. This way I get full coverage anywhere I want.

Here is the install -- easy to do and it sure is worth it. I'm happy!!


The mounting bracket -- nice and sturdy. I installed it with four 3" long drywall screws into a main wall stud







Pivoting mechanism is real easy to setup and change



Mounted on the wall. I didn't use the five foot connecting hose that came with the kit because it was too short for such a high mount. Instead I just used my existing 15" hose as the connection. That worked real well --





The connecting hose was secured to the wall with zip ties and padded with duct tape to reduce the chance of friction damage.
