While he may not have been an actual member, he certainly was in spirit.  Enough of us have bought from him and them over the years, heck, I went in, during covid, as no one wanted to lift up a vise.

A great loss! He taught me alot of what I know about Bonney tools. Guy was just a encyclopedia of knowledge. I will miss him!

I met him once, when I was able to stop by on a cross country trip. Just a really nice, friendly guy.

I bought from Steve, Jori and several others at HJE going back to the early 1980's. During the first years they had an inexplicable and I guess ultimately deemed unnecessary price code they used. The code was simply the actual price written in reverse.

The only item I regret not purchasing from them was a set of NOS replacement jaws for my old Columbian vise. The price was more than fair, but money was just too tight at the time. At that time they had all remaining stock of Columbian machinist vise parts in the country. Incredibly, that pile of NOS parts was not very large.

Steven's passing is an incredible loss for the company and he will be missed by many, myself included.
