Who says Sears doesn't source good tools anymore. I was hesitant at first, but have used this little gem for everything over the last four months -- plugs, body fasteners, as a small breaker bar, and tight access situation. The spinner handle is adjustable and smooth as silk -- fasteners just glide off with this tool -- better than many a speed handle; in my opinion.

I also like to put on a 1/4"-3/8" drive adapter and use it with 3/8 drive sockets --

It's not a "must have" tool, and it is made in China, but it is made of quality steel, excellent chrome, and good bearings in the handle. I used the included driver bits with this tool, but I prefer a traditional driver handle for that purpose. That said, the bits are good quality and can be used with many other tools and handles.

Overall, for $20 -- this is a great little "add-on" to my 1/4" drive collection

That is another tool I waited too long to buy. I think those can still be found, but I believe the price has risen dramatically.
Better hold onto something boys cause i'm fixin ta stand on it!

Yes, they are still around; in both 1/4" and 3/8" drive. I think the 1/4" is the most versatile because it's light and handy. The 3/8" drive is often too big and clumsy to be of use.

They are still being offered, and you can also still find them on ebay for a reasonable price.

While not as fancy as the craftsman unit, I bought these off ebay and am very happy with them.

Actually I think I'd like those plain Motion Pro handles better. Less cumbersome and more streamlined than the Craftsman. I will order a set and report back.

Hickory n Steel

I swear P/T or somebody else has the same ones as the Craftsman but can't think of who.
Maybe pt was actually GM powertorque from O'riley?
I remember seeing them with Blue instead of red.

I have a hammer addiction,  and a 1/4 ratchet addiction, and a pry bar addiction,  and a screwdriver addiction, and well I just have an addiction to hand tools in general.

Good find Hickory -- and a pretty darn good deal. Better price than Sears ever had.

I'm not even sure if they're the exact ones I was thinking of either, there just may be another rebrand of them under a different name and potentially better price.
